  Nuffield Croydon Central is not the greatest gym around and needs to improve on a lot. The only reason I have kept my membership because of my PT sessions, Tim has been great and I have seen more results with him than any other PT I have had. Nevertheless, the equipment in this gym is old, the floor is always dirty and if you are lucky, you might not burn or freeze in the shower. Very poor communication between the gym and its members, it doesn't look like the management cares much about customer retention. You are not informed if the classes you have planned to attend are cancelled until you arrive at the gym or worse, when the reception has to be told by a member to inform others about the cancellation. The studio has been inaccessible due to refurbishment and as Nuffield has a very tight budget, they decided not to compensate its members. The ETA for the studio opening was set to one week, then eventually changed to two weeks and now for further more days. I guess if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. However, there are genuinely decent and caring trainers/staff members who work at this gym, but unfortunately the constant occuring problems are out of their hands and genuinely down to bad and careless management. I would also highly recommend the PT sessions if you do decide to join.
